Welcome to school at home!

Since we are basically under a semi-quarantine and have been advised to be antisocial hermits, I am working on ideas to keep our kids and families connected by being socially antisocial.

For some of you the school has given login information for online learning, which is great!

But let’s be honest, that will not take up the same 8+ hours that your kids are used to while being literally in the school building. You’ve gotta break up the day a bit and still feel like you connected to the outside world.

I have been homeschooling my own children for the last 5 years, so I am coming to this with some experience being home.

As such, I have come up with ideas that we can do at home (hopefully for all ages in which to participate) and then post online so our kids can see other kids doing the same thing they are (just like they would in school).

We will all get through this!

It takes a village; the village just happens to have moved online for now.

Comments are welcome, participation is welcome, and (only) positivity is welcome!
